Guidelines for Submission
We are currently accepting creative works to be offered for sale on our website. We anticipate that thousands will view the site and be exposed to your material and many purchases will be made from our site. Your files must be in electronic format. At this time we are delivering purchases via electronic download only. Acceptable works for submission are:
- E-books
- Music
- Photography/Downloadable Art/Cartoons
- Games
- Video
- Flash Files
- Animated Works
We DO NOT accept any material that would be rated higher than R by the movie industry. What you show about your work, for example pictures and descriptions, before purchase must be rated G (if in doubt, or looking for guidance, submit for review). The work you submit must be your own material. We are respectful of copyright laws.

You will need to have Adobe Reader to open these documents.
E-Books
- Please include at minimum a synopsis and a sample chapter or two.
- For children’s books, please send the entire manuscript, even if it is not illustrated.
- Your book does not have to be professionally edited upon submission.

Music
- Send all the tracks you would like to be included on the site.
- "CD cover" or design/picture for your collective work, if you have one.
- Description you want to use to promote your work (see submission form).
- Give the names of all musicians and songwriters. If your work is accepted we will ask for their contact information as well.
Photography - Art - Cartoons
- Name or caption for each photo, art work or cartoon.
- Give the location where the photo was taken (photography) and approximate date.
- If you are submitting a collection of works please include the name of your collection.
- For promoting your work, include a description (your ad) to attract buyers and the display picture or design you want to use.
- Do you have a particular application for your photos, art or cartoons? If so include your ideas.
- If you have a person/s in your photos, you must have a model release (their permission in writing).
Games
- Must be downloadable in a generally acceptable format.
- Include instructions on how to play, if any.
- Include a picture/design you want to use for display and a description to attract buyers.
- Any other information you think is necessary.
Video - Flash Files - Animation
- Must be downloadable in a generally acceptable format.
- For promoting your work, include a description (your ad) to attract buyers and the display picture or design you want to use and any other pertinent information.
Notes
We do not give legal advice about copyrighting but there is plenty of simple to understand information on the government copyright site, www.copyright.gov. We can also assist in the copyright process.
If your creative work is accepted for our site you will be asked to sign a simple agreement to protect both you and Edge Up E Commerce. Edge Up E Commerce will never ask you to give up your rights to continue to pursue more traditional means of exposing your creative work to the public or give up any other rights to your creative work.
*We will make every attempt to assure the material offered on our site is original however, should anyone submit material that is not their own they will accept full responsibility for damages incurred to the holder of the rights for the material and/or Edge Up E Commerce.
** Should it be decided by either party that your work will not be offered on our site, your work will be deleted at once and an email confirmation sent.
